The ASHH Foundation initiated Community Peace Mediators (CPMs) in Bauchi and Ganjuwa LGAs of Bauchi State have conducted their monthly review and feedback meetings.
A press statement by ASHH Foundation’s Communication officer, Joseph Sule said, the meeting had documented 10 cases handled by mediators in Kafin Madaki community.
The report from Miri community in Bauchi LGA also indicated a recorded number of 12 cases in the month of October, with 10 already resolved by the CPMs in that area.
The statement quoted Sule as saying, “These efforts are part of an ongoing initiative to foster peace and resolve conflicts at the grassroots level, creating a safer and more harmonious environment for local residents”.
“We are deeply appreciatr the mediators’ commitment to promoting peace within their communities. Their dedication is instrumental in building a societies where can thrive”, said Sule Joseph.
